Senior Staff Accountant [REMOTE/ Promo Med Ed/HCP Ad Agency

The Role You will Play

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, support month-end and year-end close process

  • Record journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, amortization, payroll, 401K, etc.

  • Prepare GL account reconciliations

  • Update and maintain prepaid and fixed asset schedules

  • Assist with weekly check run

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

  • Generate monthly WIP and deferred revenue report

  • Recommend and implement improvements to internal procedures

  •  Reconcile intercompany transactions and correct any discrepancies

  • Assist with project management

  • Review projects to ensure accurate invoicing, prepare and review project final reconciliations

  • Handle annual 1099 issuance

  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects

Background Profile

  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Familiar with and able to apply GAAP and FASB framework

  • Self-starter

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Advance Excel skills, pivot tables, VLOOKUP
