The Role You Will Play
  • Seen as executional expert (internal and external)
  • Seen as category/brand/target/ discipline expert (internal and external)
  • Demonstrates thoughtful decision-making recommendations
  • Knowing when and what to ask to arrive at the deepest insights (internal and external)
  • Ensures strategic alignment in all agency output
  • Responsible for handling daily tasks including, but not limited to: leading client calls, client call recap summaries/next steps, developing project briefs, providing constructive feedback and leading creative team, Veeva entries, attending MLRs, oversight for budget, competitive research and analysis, strong partnership with Project Management to ensure timeline compliance and initiation of new projects, internal management of projects and budgets, handle special projects as requested
  • Proactively seeks and shares industry insights, awareness and understanding of competitive landscape (internal and external)
  • Leads annual account planning
  • Uses data driven insights to inform strategic and tactical planning
  • Looks for opportunities for business growth (organic and in-organic)
  • Looks for opportunities within the agency (new business pitches, pro-bono, internal committees, etc.)
  • Reports to the Account Director
 Background Profile
  • Minimum 3-years of experience in pharma advertising
  • Strong DTC experience required
  • Experience in diabetes category preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects & assignments in a day, strong prioritization skills
  • Superb presentation and communication skills, professional demeanor
  • Prior TV, digital and social media experience required
  • Experience utilizing Veeva required
  • Experience building client relationships & trust
  • Experience directing & fostering vendor partnerships
  • Adherence & understanding of internal/client processes
  • Accountability & knowledge of finances
  • Creative thinker (Solution oriented)
  • Provides critical creative feedback
  • Ability to manage up and down
  • Ability to think strategically
