GAD- & GAS/AS ( 2 OPENINGS Relocation)

Location: Orange County, CA
Our award winning client in Orange County they are seeking both a GAS./ Group Account Director- they've just won some amazing new business and are building out a new team to support the growth. 
 
     Strategic Consultation.
  •  Draws on a background of varied experience to offer solid and surprising insights to strategic development process to  internal and external teams.
  • Has or develops deep familiarity with client’s market, including disease state, treating clinicians and influencers and their corresponding professional societies, competitive companies and technologies, and current and future state of treatment.
  • Exudes expertise on one or more industry segments; Consistently is a go-to person for business insights
  Client Relationship.
  • Develops and maintains senior-level relationships at agency-of-record account.
  • Develops working relationships with director-level client partners as well as core brand team
  • Creates an environment for honest conversations, business growth and issues mitigation
 Agency Advocate.
  • Supports the agency’s point of view at the highest levels of the client organization
  • Provides guidance/mentorship to others (irrespective of department)
  • Supervises account team members. Motivates and mentors account team to remain positive and push the boundaries
  • Communicates clear goals and provides timely feedback to account team members.
  • Evaluates performance and skill level of account personnel.
  • Identifies unmet training needs and training opportunities.
  • Monitors and balances scheduling and overall work load for the team
  • Works cross departmentally to ensure success of daily operations. Manages interdepartmental issues
Financial management and growth.
  •  Expands agency opportunities to other client departments or divisions
  •  Accountable for the forecasting, monthly and annual revenue recognition of assigned accounts
  •  Alerts SVP/VP Accounts to upsides/ downsides related to revenue or forecasting
 
 Tactical management.
 
  • Directs account team to oversee tactics;
  • Provides guidance to high-profile and/or new strategy/deliverables

Key Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and 10– 12 years of med/healthcare agency experience. 
  • Work Experience:   Pharma/healthcare agency experience required. Oncology and launch experience strongly preferred.
