Position Description
Group Account Director will be responsible for client strategy, client marketing, campaign budgets, and assist in up-selling new products and services to existing clients. The Group Account Director assists Client Services leadership to build client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.  The Group Account Director supports business development/sales efforts while overseeing and ensuring delivery of managed market services and products within an assigned client. The Group Account functions as an internal team leader ensuring all members of the team work together smoothly and effectively while also managing, mentoring, training, and developing members of the Account Services department.
 
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with a pharmaceutical advertising agency or in a managed markets, medical communications company
  • 5+ years in direct client/ brand account management. 
  • Launch experience required
  • Must have experience being the principal client liaison managing the client relationship
  • Experience with supervision of team members
  • Experience required in managing a large book of business ($2 million in business preferred)
  • Experience with a managed markets is a plus
  • Ability to travel required up to 10% for client meetings
  • Oncology experience is a plus
Bachelor Degree in marketing, advertising
