Senior Account Executive Agency/Design Firm Where Ideas Matter

  • Agency/Design firm experience
  • Professional Services marketing experience in Finance or Insurance
  • Down to earth approach to life and work but a great work ethic.

Day-to-Day Activities for the Senior Account Executive 
  • Attends client meetings to gain project input; identifies and seeks input to questions, etc.
  • Develops Creative Briefs and gains client input/approval.
  • Working with a CD, identifies team/resources to execute projects/campaigns.
  • Organizes and conducts kick-offs and team briefings, including providing all needed background
  • information and research.
  • Creates schedules and overall work plans.
  • With CD or Sr. Creative, presents work to client.
  • Updates job status lists and prepares daily list of work to be completed.
  • As needed, traffics creative assets to media partners.
  • Reviews creative to ensure adherence to client goals and objectives.
  • Manages client feedback and negotiates on behalf of agency as necessary.
  • Schedules and manages pre-production meetings and performs all assigned final production duties (e.g.
  • reviews proofs, orchestrates proofreading, etc.).
  • Works with partner agencies to ensure innovative, integrated development of campaigns. Maintains
  • understanding of consumer insights, trends and knowledge of "what works”.
  • Understands and stays current about client’s business and competitors.
  • Helps train junior level team members and interns.
  • Monitors tasks performed by support personnel to ensure work is executed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Understands client’s internal organization/structure.
  • Helps clients develop more effective strategies.
  • As needed, prepares estimates and budgets for projects and/or campaigns. Helps guide team to stay on budget. Revises budgets and gains client approval as needed.
  • Working with finance manager, creates and executes invoices for projects.
  • For projects involving photography, printing or other external purchases, works as needed with creative team to obtain estimates, review quotes and review invoices Creates POs as needed. Understands licensing agreements.
  • Takes responsibility for project budgets and ROI.
  • Leads and manages day-to-day client relationships as the primary contact, articulating agency POV on
  • strategy and business philosophies.
  • Remains accessible for all client input/communication.
  • Prepares any schedules, plans requested by client or internal team.
  • Ensures all team members and client are updated and share a common understanding of project status.
  • Focuses on strengthening client relationships; project debriefs, social events, etc.
  • Helps orchestrate and execute client and prospect events.
  • Ensures client and prospect information in Jig is accurate.
  • Participates in New Business team activities.
  • Attends networking events to uncover new opportunities.
