Top Must-Haves for the Associate Medical Director
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences (ideally Biomedical), higher degree (PhD, Masters, etc.) preferred
  • Previous medical writing experience within a medical communications agency preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to travel
Day-to-Day Activities for the Associate Medical Director
  • Develops written materials that are high quality, scientifically accurate, clear, fully referenced, and consumable by target audiences
  • Develops a broad range of materials to present including but not limited to slides, agendas, discussion guides, webcasts, and reports
  • Develops and maintains key relationships with clients and experts
  • Follows standard operating procedure, including updating project files, following sign-off procedure, and version control conventions
  • Supports account team and attend account meetings as required
  • Anticipates resource limitations that could harm the project and is budget conscious
