Day-to-Day Activities for the Sr. Copywriter or Copy Supervisor
  • Research and develop material for multiple pharma clients and biotech business projects
  • Writing on a broad range of therapeutic areas and managed market issues
  • Work with a variety of scientific materials to develop a range of pieces for payers and other managed market stakeholders, as well as sales force training pieces and resources for patients, consumers, and healthcare professionals
  • Participates in strategic, creative brainstorming sessions that produce innovative, medically sound ideas
  • Performs independent research and works with a variety of scientific materials to develop a range of promotional and informational pieces
  • Prepares materials for Medical-Legal-Regulatory submissions
  • Works closely with Art, Client Services, and Clinical staff on assigned accounts to produce effective themes, campaigns, etc
  • Maintains consistently high standards of writing with minimal supervision (more supervision may be provided to Copywriter vs Senior Copywriter)
  • Proactively monitors the progress of assigned projects through each phase of development (eg, research, outline, manuscript, layout, production)
  • Maintains a reasonable library of own reference material relating to assigned clients
  • Ensures consistency of brand-specific style throughout jobs
