Top Must-Haves for the Group Account Director
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Business or Science Background)
  • Previous work and management experience within pharmaceutical advertising or healthcare agencies
  • Experience with budgeting and finance

Day-to-Day Activities for the Group Account Director
  • Day to Day activities are separated into the following three categories:
    • Strategic Consultation:
      • Draws on background experience to offer insights for internal and external teams
      • Has or Develops deep familiarity with client market including but not limited to disease state, the professional etiquette of clinicians and influencers, competitive companies and technologies, and current and future states of treatment.
    • Client Relationship:
      • Develops and maintains senior level relationship with account agency
      • Develops and maintains working relationships with direct level client partners and brand teams
      • Continues an environment of honest conversation, business growth, and issue mitigation within our company
    • Agency Advocate:
      • Supports the agency’s point of view at all levels of client organization
      • Evaluates skills and performance of account personnel
      • Monitors and balances work load of the team, assigning specialized tasks as needed
      • Works interdepartmentally to ensure success of daily operations
