Senior Account Executive- Advertising Agency

Location: Union County, NJ
Our well-established, growing pharma ad agency client is in need of a naturally creative, instinctively insightful, proactive and authentically strategic Senior Account Executive  experience to help support its growing business for their New Jersey or southern California office 

As a Senior AE- you’ll support the Account Supervisor in managing the day-to-day activity of the account as well budgets, creative briefs, etc.

Primary Job Responsibilities – no surprises, lots of responsibilities
  • Manage account independently on a day-to-day basis
  • Develop creative and strategic thinking skills
  • Develop creative briefs
  • Manage client expectations at all times to foster effectiveness/productivity
  • Provide input to and draft sections of the agency tactical planning
  • Meet/ manage all client deadlines
  • Monitor fee hours and proactively alert agency management and/or clients of projects are heading out of scope
  • Keep senior management briefed on account activities
  • Demonstrate and continue to build strong knowledge of scientific category and brand

  • Uphold Agency quality standards in servicing the Client
  • Maintain accurate time sheets
  • Assist other members of department/team as needed when workload allows
  • Understand when it’s appropriate to make decisions independently and when to escalate issues/decisions to manager
